Cala Vadella is a beach with crystal-clear waters and white sand, flanked by hills full of pine trees and located in the municipality of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia. Forming a small enclosed bay, it is sheltered from winds, currents and tides. Its calm sea, with little swell and shallow waters, makes this beach ideal for children.
The atmosphere is calm and family-friendly, so it tends to be fairly busy. On its right-hand shore, you'll find the various boathouses used by fishermen to store their gear.
Cala Vadella is a great place both to enjoy a family beach day and to practise a wide range of water sports, or to savour a good rice dish at a leisurely pace. This beach, with easy access and parking, offers endless entertainment options for all audiences.
And if you'd like to enjoy a magnificent sunset, you can always head to the viewpoint you'll find on the road. The views are exceptional!
The leisure and entertainment options you'll find on this Ibizan beach are endless. Here you can enjoy multiple water activities such as diving or snorkelling, have fun with pedal boats, or enjoy a varied gastronomic offer.
There are many bars and restaurants where you can try typical Mediterranean dishes. Restaurante Can Jaume, Bon Sol, María Luisa and Vadella Beach Bar are some of them.
This beach also offers many other services, such as boat rental, mountain biking routes, horse-riding excursions, kayak trips and much more. What's more, thanks to the richness of its seabed, boat anchoring is common here.
During your stay at Aparthotel Cala Vadella, you can also visit Sant Josep de Sa Talaia and its surroundings. This village, located at the foot of the Sa Talaia hill, is known as one of the prettiest in Ibiza. It's the highest municipality on the island, from where you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views.
It's a very pleasant place for a stroll, to have a coffee or a snack, or to admire its beautiful whitewashed houses, many of which still preserve the typical rural Ibizan architecture.
Don't miss its 18th-century church and its defence towers, such as the Torre del Pirata, with the islets of Es Vedrà and Es Vedranell in the background; the Torre d’Es Carregador, near Ses Salines; or the Torre d’en Rovira, overlooking the beaches of Comte.
Other places of interest in Sant Josep include the Ses Salines Natural Park, the Platja d’en Bossa hippy market, the Sa Talaia hill, and the Phoenician settlement of Sa Caleta, among many others.
To comfortably reach all these Ibizan spots, we offer you the option of staying in any of our comfortable, cosy and fully equipped apartments, located right on the beachfront.
